Welcome to Lost Battlefields. I try to find, investigate and document the military’s historical important locations, forts bunkers and castles. I do this through personal funds, non-profit donations and grants.  I travel around the world to find the most interesting and important places and document them in detail for you.

I try to cover all the important modern wars with specials on WW1, WW2 and the German secret research programs and locations. And of course document the Greatest Castles and Forts ever built.

As a historian and veteran, I am saddened when I see the next generation speak of how little they actually know of World War II and history in general. But, this global conflict impacted and influences our everyday lives even if most people do not know it. The die hard fans will always remain, but history books and documentaries are becoming less and less interesting for young people, who are always looking for fast paced entertainment. For those the past seems boring.  My vision with the show is to make history come alive and be interesting. By visiting old known and unknown battlefields around the world, speak to those still live, hear their stories, film what there is today and then recreate some of those events using my team of real soldiers, real WW2 tanks, planes and guns to realistically show those events - while making all interviews available on line. It is a journey we must begin now, as the great generation is fading from us and in many places the physical signs of the war are sinking away.
 
In the show we will visit famous Battlefields as well as lesser known ones. From the bunker fortifications built by the Germans in preparation for the expected Allied Invitation, to the coast of France, Normandy and Calais all the way up to the tip of Denmark and Norway. We will go below ground as well as insides those still visible. We will investigate how the defenders survived, fought or died in these fortifications around Europe.
